Dusk
(Arms Race, Counter-Strike 2, June 2025)
I made this map to properly relearn the Counter-Strike 2 tooling, and to push myself to fully complete a map that reaches the graphical standard of the new game. I primarily stuck to the theme of an existing map in the game (Nuke) and used Valve's work as reference for appropriate use of their assets, but the final product feels quite different to Nuke in a few ways, such as the central circular feature which uses existing materials in a wholly new context.
If you're wondering, it's called Dusk because it originally was to feature an outdoors section above the current playable area with a nice orange sky, but I had to scale the map back to a more practical size and I couldn't come up with a nice concise name for the now-subterranean facility.
Xá Lợi
(Team Deathmatch, Military Conflict: Vietnam, December 2025)
This map was my entry into Dustfade's 2025 Mapping Contest. The goal was to create a small scale Team Deathmatch map using the Hammer++ editor and for it to be themed around an event or location in the Vietnam War. My map placed 3rd and will be officially included in the game as part of a future update.
Charon
(Arena, Counter-Strike 2, January 2026)
I made this map following a mental image I had of a boat in a cistern. More broadly, I wanted to detail the map around a really gloomy and dank underground environment. The whole map came together in a little under two weeks, and the central chamber in particular was very close to what I had in mind and the atmosphere fell into place very quickly.
I am aware that this is the second CS2 map of mine featuring a circular central feature in both the floor and ceiling.
